About Me and Trading Stocks
I am a retired forex dealer and forex trader who just can’t seem to get away from the most interesting business of trading foreign exchange.
Of course, over the years as a forex trader I also followed the major stock markets of the world. From time to time I’ll make comments on this blog that will be hopefully helpful to stock market and forex traders. Just remember, that this information will be dated by the time that you see it and should, if used at all, be used more of a guide than for making specific stock or forex trades.
I worked in Asia and Europe for many years in the forex business. I retired in Thailand four years ago, over which time the Thai Baht rose about twenty percent against the US Dollar.
That is a large enough increase to be noticed by American expats. The easiest way to change Dollars for Bahts is to go to the friendly ATM machine. Believe me you notice foreign exchange levels when it costs you more and more dollars to get the same amount of Baht over a four year period.
I use this true painful example to illustrate that forex transactions are an important part of money management even if at times you may not realize it. Forex exchange levels effect a great deal in our financial lives.
As the most liquid, largest financial market in the world forex is difficult to ignore. As a trading medium fx offers many interesting opportunities for profit.
However, there are many more stock traders and investors in this world than there are forex traders.
Using technical and fundamental insights learned from forex trading and applying it to stock trading is what this blog will be all about. Go to Forex Trading Guru for additional information about trading forex.
I hope you find the contents of both sites useful.
